употреблением. В зависимости от тяжести влечения возникают весьма негативные воздействия на
другие мотивационные и поведенческие системы. Они состоят, с одной стороны, в том, что средства для
удовлетворения мотивов влечения могут быть получены только за счет эксцессов в других областях
(например, криминальности). С другой стороны, они состоят в том, что поведение, обусловленное
влечением, и вызывающая его система мотивации по степени зависимости могут привести к
существенной, вредящей самому индивиду редукции всех без исключения других мотивационных и
поведенческих сфер. Например, лица с тяжелой зависимостью от алкоголя и героина полностью
разрушают свою профессиональную и социальную жизнь.
